With rates and POSX lower, today should have been a solid up day for the Comex PMs. However, one look at the calendar will remind you that monthly Comex option expiration day is near and, as such, the falling dollar index only helped to spur the algos to regain some of the losses inflicted in the usual 8:30-10:00 ET timeframe.
