Well, the year 2024 is already 1/6th in the books and we’ve reached the month of March. Many experts and analysts have been pointing to March in the expectation that it will be a rather volatile month across all “markets”. For once, those “experts and analysts” are likely to be correct.
As March begins, we know where prices are. What we don’t know is where prices will be when March ends. Maybe it’ll be nothing but a flat, rangebound month? Maybe. But I suspect that we’ll see some considerable volatility this month in bonds, equities and the PMs.
