The final week of Q1 begins with small gains in CDG and GDX. What will tomorrow and the rest of the week hold? Let’s discuss that today.

It was a mostly quiet day and, if it hadn’t been Comex option expiration day, we’d have had some nice gains. At one point, CDG reached $2182, CFS was $25+ and the GDX was at 30.39. But the endless drip of April expiration-related selling drove the Comex PMs lower and as you know, if the Comex PMs drift lower while the NYSE is open, the mining shares are very likely to drift lower, too.
